Dave Bibbey

Sunglass and Reader Division Chair

Dave has 15 years of eyewear experience, having spent the past nine years with Zoom Eyeworks. He has an extensive background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, product forecasting and planning and product development. He has been a key driver in the significant growth of Zoom.

Bibbey, 45, is currently President of The Vision Council Sunglass and Reader Division (previously known as the Sunglass Association of America). He has served as an officer and on the Board of Directors of the Sunglass Association for seven years.

Dave also serves on the Board of Directors for PRVAIL, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing eyewear in third-world countries.

Bibbey has been in a variety of management roles previously with Conde Nast, Bausch and Lomb, Procter and Gamble, and Frito-Lay.

Dave is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with BS in Operations Research/Industrial Management. He is an active member in the Cowboy Joe Booster Club and an Ambassador for the University. Dave resides outside of Fort Collins, Colorado. He is married, has three children and coaches football and baseball.
