Geoffrey Moss

Low Vision Division Chairman

With over 25 years of experience in the optical industry, Geoffrey Moss serves as chairman of The Vision Council Low Vision Division. Moss  got his start in the optical industry by assisting in the start up of Bausch and Lomb’s Soflens Division, helping revenue increase to over $110 million in just a few short years. After staying with the company for 10 years and working his way up to vice president of marketing, he moved on to become the general manager of Carl Zeiss Frames and Consumer Optics Business in North America.

In 1983, Moss founded Eschenbach Optik of America, Inc., which is the marketing, sales and distribution sister company of Eschenbach Optik of Germany for North, Central and South America. During his time as chief executive officer of Eschenbach, he attended the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management Program and successfully completed the program in 2001.

Moss founded the Low Vision Council (now The Vision Council Low Vision Division), served as a board member for The Vision Council and is currently a board member of Housatonic Habitat for Humanity.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northern Illinois University and a master’s of business administration from Roosevelt University.
