5 minutes of Your Time Can Mean a Difference in a Child's Life

Letter from Jody Bailey

Act Now!

Two out of every three children DO NOT receive a vision assessment before starting school! You can help change that.

New legislation on Capitol Hill can help children get the vision care they need. This bill will finally address the number of children that have been falling through the cracks of vision care system because of lack of coverage in working poor families.

Support S. 259 with a letter to congress

State block grant bill focused on follow up care and education to allow all states to help address a much needed area of help - getting from identification to treatment when you are in the middle working poor not eligible for Medicaid and not wealthy enough for out of pocket payments.

Support H.R. 577 with a letter to congress

This legislation is a state block grant bill focused on follow-up care for children who are identified with a vision problem through already existing state programs to allow all states to help address a much needed area of help - getting from identification to treatment when you are in the middle working poor not eligible for Medicaid and not wealthy enough for out of pocket payments.
